It is highly recommended to bring water shoes with you, or at least something comfortable for walking (not flip flops), as cenote floors and entrances are rocky. If you want to observe the interesting sizeable and ornate limestone formations, pay attention to the dry part of the cave. Then the cenote goes deeper, and you will see a ceiling of unusual stalactites, that are both a little horrifying and exciting.
